Dr. Barnes allowed Carl McCardle complete access to instructors and files of the Foundation so he could write a story on its ongoing educational program. The articles he wrote, sold to The Saturday Evening Post, turned out to be an exposé filled with factual errors and designed to create a sensational story. Barnes was unable to stop publication of the articles and angrily denounced the work in print and in a radio broadcast. Excerpts are included in the Audio Archives section of this CD-ROM.
